After much deliberation,
the Star Wars TCG IDC (IDC) has BANNED the following cards
from general play and tournament play effective immediately:

Lukes
X-wing (E) (Scum
& Villainy)

Hotwire
(Battle
of Endor)
These cards were
formally considered unhealthy for gameplay, if not outright abusive.
For casual play, you may still include them in your decks as long
as your opponent is aware that you are playing them and allows them
to be included.
In the case of Lukes X-wing (E),
the IDC is fully aware the problems come mostly from R2-D2 Pilots
cards, particularly R2-D2
(J). However, it is not our desire to call into question Wizards
of the Coast-created cards over our own, per the IDC Charter
For Hotwire, the card is considered
undercosted for the benefits (disrupt and Location discard) it provides.
During our deliberations, we also considered
Death
Star II (D). At this time, it shall remain fully playable, but
will be placed on the IDCs "watch list." Is there
an official IDC "watch list?" Not really, but we will
be keeping our eyes on it.
