Plunder the Fallen
By
Brian Weeks
With
each passing week, as we approach the pending release of the Invasion
of Naboo expansion, it gets harder and harder to pick a new
card to preview. I want to preview a cool card, but still leave
a few surprises for you on the day of release. So, with today's
preview card, Plunder the Fallen, we see a familiar ability,
but on a card type different than what were used to seeing it on.

Plunder the Fallen, a three build Mission
card, has an interesting ability. Similar abilities exist on Aurra
Sing (C), Bib
Fortuna (A) and Absorption.
These abilities all deal with taking a discarded card (whether yours
or your opponents), stacking it under one of your unit cards, and
gaining several bonuses: + speed, + power and + health. Whereas
Absorption
restricts its use to just Character units, Plunder the Fallen
can be used on any unit and doesn't require an opponent's unit to
be discarded to gain the ability..
And as mentioned in this weeks Card Of The
Week, Bib
Fortuna (A) can take huge advantage of this card. Other cards
to gain an advantage from this card are Lando
Calrissian (G) (and his Bespin deck) and Endor
Rebel Fleet (in a Rebel Starfighter deck), just to name two.
There are many other strategies that can utilize this card. Share
any other strategies you might have on the forums. Until next time...Keep
the Game Alive!!
