Darth Maul (C)

With the introduction of Dark Rage from the new IDC expansioin, Invasion of Naboo, Darth Maul will see new light (or darkness) in many Dark side tournament decks. Of his previous incarnations, Darth Maul (C) would be the best Maul to take advantage of this new Battle card.

At 8/60/7/7, Darth Maul (C) is one of the more "pricier" Maul's, but if used in a Force Drain deck, his "unpreventable" damage is worth the cost. But, now add Dark Rage to the equation. For 4 Force, Darth Maul (C) is now 8/60/9/7 with Critical Hit 2 and Fury 2. Wow.

Add any of the other Maul's (and any possible new Maul's) to his stack and Darth Maul (C) is hitting hard. When ION is released in the coming months, I predict a new Darth Maul beat down deck. Bet on it.
