Base Set (October 2, 2007)
Ground Assault (November 26, 2007)
Order 66
(Coming February 2008)
This
is a plugin to play the Wizkids Star Wars Pocketmodels TCG game
using LackeyCCG Player. Lackey CCG Player is a tool for creating
and playing any type of CCG (collectible card game) online (or offline
in solitaire mode). It's also a great tool for building and designing
decks. You can create your own game or download a plugin of an existing
game and play with your friends.
This plugin currently contains
the first expansion (Base Set Expansion) and will soon include
the second expansion, Ground Assault. You can check the LackeyCCG
forums for plugins for other card games.
Open Lackey. Click on the Preferences tab at the top
of the screen.
Copy/Paste (Ctrl +C and Ctrl + V) this link - http://www.skywlkr.net/SWPM/plugins/swpocketmodels/updatelist.txt
into the Autoupdate field.
Click the Update from URL button.
This should download the whole plugin for you.
NEW: Autoupdate!!!
Installing or updating
a plugin couldn't be easier.
A cool new feature in Lackey is AutoUpdate. If you have the
new Lackey with AutoUpdate, just type in the following URL in the
Preferences->Plugin panel, and hit
the "Update from URL" button. Everything should be downloaded
automatically and put in its proper place. Then relaunch Lackey and
start playing right away. Be sure to Autoupdate periodically to be
sure you have the latest updates.
There are a whole
bunch of great avatars you can use at the Avatars
page. That page even has AutoUpdate URLs for easy downloading.
There are also two
playmats included in the update: a two player mat and a four player
mat. I can create an eight player mat if there are large requests
for it.
If
you're having issues downloading the Autoupdate, here's the zip
file with the full plugin: SWPM
2.0 (7.8mb)
Instructions for
initial play (for instructions on how to use LackeyCCG, check out the official
website):
Because the SWPM
TCG is essentially two games in one (cards and models), you will
have to construct two decks for each game: one for ships and one
for cards.
Open LackeyCCG and load the swpocketmodels
plugin.
Open the Deck Editor (third tab at the top)
and create and save your two "decks": One deck for just
ships and the other for just cards.
Open your ship deck and click the "Load
to you" button. This will then take you to the table.
Your ships will be loaded into your deck.
Drag and drop all of them to the table. Put the ones you will
start with in your home zone. Drag and drop the rest of them to
the Reserves tab.
Now, go back to your Deck Editor. Open your
card deck now and click the "Load to you" button again.
This will then take you back to the table again.
Your cards will be loaded into your deck.
Select the first three cards in your deck and drag them to the
Objective tab. These will be your Objectives. Shift-Select all
three of them, right-click on them and select "Turn Over"
(even though they are turned over and hidden in the Objective
tab, you will need to turn them over to hide them on the table).
Now drag and drop all three of them to the table and place them
in the Objectives.
Now you're ready to go!!! Roll for Advantage,
draw your three cards and start playing. It may seem tedious at
first, but after a few test runs, you'll get the hang of it and
setup won't take you any time at all. Have fun!!
Instructions for
sealed deck play (for instructions on how to use LackeyCCG, check out the official
website):
Because the SWPM TCG is essentially two
games in one (cards and models), you will have to "open"
two sealed decks for each game: one for ships and one for cards.
Open LackeyCCG and load the swpocketmodels
plugin.
Open the Deck Editor (third tab at the top).
Click on the "Open packs" button (located on the bar
between the upper deck area and the lower expansions area).
Right click on the Packs Zone at the bottom
of the screen. " Cards" are your random card packs
and " Template" are your random ship packs. Left
click on " Template" to load one ship template.
Add as many packs from as many expansions as you want. You will
receive two ship templates for each pack loaded.
Now click on the "Add all to Card Pool"
button on the left. This will "open" your packs and
will provide random results.
The template images shown in the Card pool
show the ships you drafted. Now you will have to "build"
your ships. Click on "Add all to Deck List". This will
move your templates to the Deck builder above.
Click on "Return to Free Build"
to start loading your ships. Whichever template you drafted, load
the appropriate ship(s) into your Deck. Delete the templates out
of your Deck when your done. Click the "Load to you"
button. This will then take you to the table.
Your ships will be loaded into your deck.
Drag and drop all of them to the table. Put the ones you will
start with in your home zone. Drag and drop the rest of them to
the Reserves tab.
Now, go back to your Deck Editor. Click
on the "New Deck" button. Click on the "Open packs"
button again. Click on the "Delete All Pool" button.
Right click on the Packs Zone at the bottom
of the screen. Left click on " Card" to load one
card template. Add as many packs from as many expansions as you
want. You will receive six cards for each pack loaded.
Now click on the "Add all to Card Pool"
button on the left. This will "open" your packs and
will provide random results.
Click on "Add all to Deck List".
This will move your cards to the Deck builder above. Click the
"Load to you" button. This will then take you to the
table.
Have fun!
